CPLI Continues to Support Greenhouse Gas Reduction Activities, Receives Sixth Letter of Recognition from TGO, Offsetting 1,913.377 Tons of CO2 Equivalent from 3,956 Trees
CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) remains steadfast in its commitment to climate resilience and actively participates in addressing this global issue. CPLI focuses on developing new leaders with a strong awareness of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to ensure sustainable development. Following the CP Group's long-standing "Three Benefits" principle, CPLI aims to create value for the nation, the people, and the organization.
In April 2024, CPLI, in collaboration with business partner CPP, conducted the "CPLI Going Greener: Carbon Sequestration Assessment of Trees for LESS Letter of Recognition Year 3." The Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) recognized and certified this initiative under the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS), confirming 287.079 tons of CO2 equivalent sequestration.
Through its dedication to responsible business practices, CPLI has now received a total of six Letters of Recognition from the LESS program, successfully sequestering and reducing a combined 1,913.377 tons of CO2 equivalent from 3,956 trees. These achievements span across three project categories: forestry and agriculture, waste management, and energy.
CPLI's continuous efforts reflect its unwavering dedication to creative and sustainable development. This not only includes reducing greenhouse gases but also promoting efficient resource use, preserving biodiversity, and raising environmental awareness at all organizational levels. CPLI believes that sustainable business practices are not just a duty but a responsibility towards society and the environment, paving the way for a better future for everyone.
