Professor Charoon explained that this painting was inspired by his love for colors and nature. He chose the natural color of orchids and arranged them coordinating their vibrant colors and hues. The aim was to give viewers pleasure and enjoyment in nature by seeing the colors of nature harmonize in perfection. This painting embodies the concept used continuously by the artist and has become the hallmark of Professor Charoon. Every flower painting brought to life with the tip of a paintbrush and set in a new composition to be uniquely beautiful, brings out the essence of nature's beauty to stand out even more than reality while impressing viewers with the closeness of nature.
About the Artist
Professor Charoon Boonsuan
Professor Charoon Boonsuan was born on July 2, 1938 and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree from Silpakorn University. He is regarded as one of Thailand’s early artists to adopt the Impressionistic style. Each tip of his paintbrush has created works of art that are bursting with color and detail conveying the delicacy, lusciousness, and freshness of flowers to viewers through blooming flora that come alive upon hundreds and thousands of canvases.
