CPLI Champions Sustainability Model "Caring for the Earth, Sharing Goodness with Society", Targeting 100% Clean Energy and Elevating Community Quality of Life
CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) reinforces its vision as a role model organization for sustainability, continuously driving positive initiatives for the country, the people, and the organization under the concept "Every Success is the Value We Pass On." The institute recently unveiled significant achievements that have generated concrete positive impacts, playing a crucial role in mitigating the environmental crisis and establishing a comprehensive support network for Thai society.
Pioneering the "Caring for the Earth" initiative, the environmental dimension is driven by clean energy and carbon forests. CPLI has advanced the establishment of the Sustainable Carbon Forest Learning Center and the Fast-Growing Economic Wood Learning Center, both successfully registered as T-VER projects with an estimated greenhouse gas sequestration of 351 tCO2eq. Concurrently, the continuation of the LESS project into its 5th year has achieved a cumulative greenhouse gas reduction and sequestration of 4,121.602 tCO2eq. By expanding this knowledge to educational institutions, the institute proudly earned the Silver-level Excellent Organization Award (LESS Friendship Awards).
Furthermore, CPLI demonstrates a powerful stance in aiming to become an organization powered by 100% clean energy. This is achieved through the utilization of renewable energy sources such as floating solar systems and solar farms, which have received REC and UGT1 project certifications. These efforts led the organization to win prestigious accolades at the Thailand Energy Awards for two consecutive years, recognized for its energy conservation projects that focus on maximizing energy efficiency.
Harnessing the power of "Sharing Goodness with Society" to foster growth that leaves no one behind, CPLI extends its focus beyond the environment to elevate the public's quality of life. The institute has strongly driven the CP BLOOD DONATION DAY "Give Blood, Give Life" project into its 7th year. Through the collaborative power of its employees, over 1,000,000 cc of blood has been donated to help save the lives of fellow human beings.
In the realm of education, CPLI has continuously provided educational opportunities for the 4th consecutive year. The institute elevates educational standards by granting scholarships and providing computers to various schools, with a total value exceeding 800,000 baht. Simultaneously, CPLI has continued to deliver relief supplies to the underprivileged and the elderly for the 3rd year in a row, supporting the community with sports equipment and over 2,500 kilograms of rice to promote good health and well-being.
