The visit aimed to exchange experiences and create leaders for governmental and private organizations. Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont, Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, participated in exchanging ideas and experiences in creating substantial organizational leaders. This marked the first time that more than 100 senior executives at the level of Deputy Director and above had joined in exchanging experiences on creating organizational leaders. The learning simulation model of the Leadership Institute was Action Learning, which divided participants into subgroups for workshops or brainstorming sessions on three important topics related to leadership development: 1. People, 2. Technology, and 3. Geopolitics. The results from the brainstorming sessions were reported and commented on by senior commanders. In addition, there were special lectures delivered by Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont.
This visit and exchange of experiences under the program for exchanging experiences to create leaders for governmental and private organizations between the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters and Charoen Pokphand Group focused on creating leaders to develop the Armed Forces to cope with changes in the new world. Therefore, they visited Pokphand Leadership Institute, where Ms. Pimonrat Reephattanavijitkul, Chief People Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group and Director of Charoen Pokphand Leadership Institute, presented the overall operations of the Charoen Pokphand Leadership Institute regarding personnel development and creating people in the Charoen Pokphand Group's style and for society. The Leadership Institute was founded on the vision of Senior Chairman Dhanin, who wanted to create a world-class leadership development institute with all-around excellence, serving as a source for nurturing strategies and synergies to develop business plans, extending benefits to the country and creating sustainability following the organization's "Three-Benefit" principle: benefiting the nation, the people, and the organization. This is done by developing new-generation leaders through the "Tao Kae" programs which involve learning through hands-on practice. Currently, 9,700 employees have been trained as Tao Kae. In addition, C.P. Group has a human resource policy to support and become a future-oriented organization, combining the work of people and machines for maximum benefits.
Dr.Teerapon Tanomsakyut, Chief Data and Communications Strategy Officer and Chief Organizational Sustainability and Strategy Development Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, shared that technology would change the world. People would be divided into those who used technology and those who were replaced by technology. Businesses must adapt in all aspects, focusing on clean energy, smart technology, and sustainability. Moreover, they must be aware of cybercrime problems and develop people.
The ambience during this visit to exchange experiences in creating organizational leaders was full of the power of learning and exchanging opinions to develop the Armed Forces, emphasizing the development of personnel, technology, and coping with new threats. In the past, Charoen Pokphand Group had a collaborative project with the Royal Thai Army to develop personnel by promoting skill-building and providing suitable job positions after discharge from service. This collaboration would be expanded and elevated to cooperate with the Ministry of Defense in the future.
