CPLI Leads FLP19 Participants in Alms-giving for True Little Monk Year 12, Refining Minds to Cultivate Virtuous Leaders with Awakened Hearts
The CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) led 31 participants from the 19th Future Leaders Program (FLP), representing various business units including CPALL, CPAXTRA, TRUE, CPF, and FIT, along with HR representatives and the program management team, totaling 36 people. The group participated in a dried food alms-giving ceremony for the dhutanga monk leaders and 12 novices of the True Little Monk Year 12 project at the main chapel of Wat Wachiralongkon Wararam Worawihan. This activity served to offer food provisions to those dedicated to their spiritual practice and to promote Dhamma learning as a means of mental refinement—a crucial foundation for nurturing exemplary leaders with compassion, public spirit, and a commitment to driving the organization toward sustainability.
The atmosphere of the event was guided by the theme "Dhamma Land, Thai Land: Love, Learn, Persevere, Give with an Awakened Heart." This serves as a key strategy in developing new-generation leaders by shifting their mindset to realize that strong leadership begins with self-awareness, a clear mind, and an understanding of the value of giving. Dedicating time to these spiritual duties acts as an extracurricular lesson that develops internal potential, enabling new leaders to apply Dhamma principles in their management and decision-making with prudence, integrity, and ethics—essential qualities for leading an organization to lasting success.
