CPLI Joins the Community in Leaf Pot Crafting to Learn and Pass on ESG Wisdom to Future Leaders

On the occasion of World Environment Day, 5 June 2025, the CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) participated in a hands-on workshop on “Crafting Plant Pots from Dried Leaves.” The activity, organized by Pak Chong Municipality in collaboration with the Hug Khao Yai Club and the H-T-S Network (Home, Temple, School), took place at Wat Chanthuek, Nong Sarai Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The workshop aimed to promote knowledge on biomass waste management, reduce open burning, and support the exchange of environmental care practices at the community level.
The initiative was supported by various local stakeholders and featured demonstrations on how to make plant pots from dried leaves, along with practical guidance on how to apply the technique in households, temples, and schools. The project was designed to support long-term PM 2.5 dust reduction. CPLI actively engaged in the learning process, exchanging ideas with community members and gaining insights to be shared with the next-generation leaders.
This participation reflects CPLI’s ongoing commitment to driving ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) goals, particularly on environmental issues. It also aligns with the Charoen Pokphand Group’s Six Core Values, which serve as a foundation for sustainable growth alongside communities and nature.
