CPLI Honors Thai Traditions and Strengthens Community Ties for a Sustainable Future

In celebration of the culturally significant Songkran Festival, the CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) proudly embraced Thai heritage through the traditional water-pouring ceremony held at its training center. The event was graced by the presence of Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont, Mr. Supakit Chearavanont, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Pongtep Chearavanont, and Mr. Adirek Sripratak, Vice Chairman, and Ms. Pimonrat Reepattanavijitkul, Chief People Officer and President of CPLI, along with CP Group's senior executives. The ceremony symbolized blessings for the Thai New Year and underscored the organization’s deep respect for Thai culture.
Beyond preserving cultural heritage, CPLI also demonstrated its strong commitment to social responsibility by supporting the community-led initiative, “Sharing Kindness through Rice Donation for the Bedridden, the Underprivileged, and the Elderly.” In collaboration with the Nong Nam Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, CPLI executives and staff collectively prepared 137 bags of rice, totaling 685 kilograms, for donation. The rice was presented to Mr. Kamron Kanokchatchawan, Chief Executive of Nong Nam Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and Mr. Kachen Yaisun, Deputy Chief of Nong Nam Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
In addition, the CPLI team visited Moo 6 in Ban Pong Kasang to personally distribute the rice to local residents. They also hosted recreational activities to bring joy and laughter to the elderly and community members, spreading not just resources but also hope, encouragement, and warmth.
These two meaningful initiatives reflect CPLI’s commitment to preserving cherished traditions while advancing CP Group’s Six Core Values and its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, alongside the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through heartfelt action, CPLI continues to deliver care, create long-term value, and build sustainable relationships with the community.
