CPLI Visits “Say No to Plastic Bottles” Project to Drive Plastic Waste Reduction and Promote Environmental Sustainability
CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) recently visited the “Say No to Plastic Bottles” project, reinforcing its commitment to reducing plastic waste and advancing environmental sustainability. Recognizing the critical importance of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030, CPLI is actively pursuing various initiatives to demonstrate tangible progress in its environmental stewardship mission.
A key element of this effort is the transition from using plastic bottles to more sustainable alternatives for providing drinking water at seminars and meetings. CPLI is dedicated to identifying service models that align with sustainability goals, aiming to make impactful changes for a better tomorrow.
Mr. Khachorn Chearavanont, Executive Director of True Corporation Public Company Limited, graciously welcomed and educated the CPLI executive team, led by Ms. Pimonrat Reephattanavijitkul, Chief Human Resources Officer of CP Group and President of CPLI, on the “Say No to Plastic Bottles” initiative. This project highlights the company's concrete steps to reduce plastic usage, notably through the establishment of a high-quality RO Water Plant at True Tower. This facility employs a Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration system to produce water of purity comparable to distilled water. Employees are encouraged to refill their bottles with this clean, hygienic water instead of using disposable plastic bottles. This initiative not only enhances the quality of life for employees but also significantly contributes to environmental protection and the promotion of global ecological balance.
