CPLI Celebrates Pride Month at “CP Group Embrace The Diversity Stage,” Embracing the Power of Inclusion and Acceptance in the Workplace

This Pride Month, the CP Leadership Institute (CPLI), together with CP Ambassadors and employees from various departments, joined the “CP Group Embrace The Diversity Stage” event at True Digital Park. Dressed in vibrant colors, participants came together to promote a culture of equality and to celebrate authenticity in the workplace. Organized by Charoen Pokphand Group and its business units, the event aimed to create an inclusive space for employees of all genders, ages, religions, and backgrounds to express their identities with pride and contribute to a more understanding and respectful society.

Ms. Pimonrat Reepattanavijitkul, President of CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) and Chief People Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, remarked during the event, “The Group is committed to building a workplace culture that respects diversity and stands firm on the principles of human rights, as this is the true foundation of sustainability.” She emphasized the continuity of this journey since 2022, which has earned recognition both locally and internationally. She also cited Thailand as a “Safe Zone” recognized globally for gender equality.

Ms. Pimonrat further highlighted the Group’s progressive employee benefits for the LGBTQ+ community, which currently cover five key areas: marriage leave, first-child parental leave, gender affirmation surgery reimbursement, post-surgery recovery leave, and bereavement leave for legally recognized life partners. These initiatives reflect the Group’s sincere commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees feel seen and supported.

Dr. Teerapon Thanomsakyuth, Chief Sustainability, Governance, and Risk Management Officer, added that diversity in the workplace extends beyond gender—it includes generations, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds. All of these dimensions are sources of creative energy that help the organization thrive globally. “Human dignity should never be conditional,” he stated, reaffirming the Group’s strong stance on human rights and its implementation across the business value chain to ensure equality at every point of interaction within the organization.

The event featured a range of engaging activities, including real-life experience sharing by executives and employee representatives from diverse groups in terms of gender, religion, ethnicity, age, and ability. There were also hands-on DIY workshops organized by the LGBTQ+ Club and the Autism Thai Foundation, along with other inclusive initiatives that fostered a spirit of participation, mutual understanding, and a supportive learning environment within the organization.

CPLI’s participation in this event reflects its continued dedication to creating a safe and inclusive space for all employees, where differences are not only accepted but valued. It also reinforces CPLI’s role in building a diverse and open workplace culture. This initiative aligns with the “S” (Social) aspect of ESG and exemplifies CP Group’s core value of “Embracing Change,” driving the organization to grow on a foundation of empathy, equality, and social awareness in today’s world.
