CPLI Empowers Future Leaders with ESG Workshop and Tree-Measuring Mission, Paving the Way for Sustainable Action
CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) recently hosted an ESG workshop for participants of the CP Future Leaders Development Program (FLP) Batch 16. The workshop aimed to instill the significance of ESG principles—Environmental, Social, and Governance—in sustainable organizational development. It included discussions on the pressing sustainability challenges facing the world today and emphasized the collective responsibility of all sectors to drive meaningful change for the present and future generations.
As part of the hands-on experience, young leaders measured over 800 trees across a 24-rai area to assess carbon dioxide sequestration capabilities. This data contributes to the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Initiative (LESS) project, enhancing practical understanding and fostering a sense of environmental stewardship among participants. The initiative emphasized that embracing ESG is essential for long-term business development, impacting every link in the business chain. Organizations that proactively adopt and adapt ESG strategies build competitive advantages and strengthen their market position.
CPLI remains committed to supporting experiential learning that embeds the principles of ESG. Through practical activities like the FLP program, CPLI aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders who are equipped to champion sustainability and drive their organizations toward lasting success.
