CPLI Visits The Forestias by MQDC to Explore Sustainable Innovations and Advance Environmental Mission
CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) recently visited The Forestias by MQDC intending to study sustainable innovations and foster inter-company collaboration to create a better and more sustainable future. This visit aimed to enhance understanding of modern principles, design, and technologies used in the development of green buildings and cities.
The tour comprised several key segments. It began with an introduction to The Forestias project, where the team received presentations on the design and material selection adhering to LEED and WELLS standards. Additionally, the Resource Innovation and Sustainability Center (RISC) presented advanced and efficient waste and water management innovations. The visit also covered SMART IOC’s management of security systems and smart city technologies, highlighting the integration of technology in ensuring safety and convenience in modern urban environments.
The tour included a visit to the plant that produces chilled water and drinking water, as well as the Utilities Tunnel, which demonstrated efficient resource management. An impressive highlight of the visit was the Immersive Experience at the Forest Pavilion, showcasing the use of technology to create realistic experiences. The tour concluded with a walk along the Forest Skywalk, emphasizing the connection with nature and environmentally friendly design.
