CPLI Engages Mitsubishi Corporation in Human Link Discussions to Advance Leadership and Talent Development and Build a Global Learning Network

The C.P. Leadership Institute (CPLI) is advancing opportunities for collaboration in human capital development with Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) through the concept of Human Link. The initiative aims to connect the knowledge, experience, and leadership networks of both organizations to develop capable professionals who are equipped to navigate the evolving global business landscape.

The discussions reflect a fundamental principle: sustainable business partnerships are built not solely on investment or technology, but also on mutual understanding, trust, and strong relationships among people across organizations.

One notable model from Mitsubishi Corporation is the MC Group Gateway Program, an international talent development initiative designed to familiarize employees across its global operations with the company’s history, management philosophy, corporate values, and business strategies.

The program integrates e-learning, in-person training at the company's headquarters in Tokyo, site visits, and networking opportunities among employees from different countries. Its curriculum covers management strategies, global human resource management, digital strategy, and cross-cultural communication.

Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut, Chair, Executive Committee of the CPLI, places strong emphasis on transforming CPLI from a traditional training institution into a Leadership & Business Transformation Platform. He recognizes that collaboration with leading global organizations can provide employees with valuable opportunities to learn from real-world experiences and translate acquired knowledge into tangible organizational outcomes.

The proposed Human Link collaboration between CPLI and Mitsubishi Corporation presents opportunities for further development across four key dimensions:

  1. Leadership Exchange: Facilitating the exchange of knowledge and executive experience to cultivate leaders with global perspectives.
  2. Cross-Cultural Learning: Strengthening mutual understanding of management practices and business cultures between Thailand and Japan.
  3. Digital & AI Transformation: Sharing approaches to workforce development that equip employees with the capabilities needed to embrace digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and business transformation.
  4. Business Networking & Action Learning: Connecting employees from both organizations through collaborative learning and hands-on engagement with real-world business challenges.

The ultimate objective extends beyond increasing the number of training programs or participants, but to develop leaders who can translate knowledge into practical applications, drive innovation, and foster long-term business collaboration between the two organizations.

“Human Link is the starting point of Business Link. When people connect, knowledge, trust, and business opportunities grow together.”

These discussions represent another opportunity to strengthen CPLI's position as a global hub connecting leaders, knowledge, and strategic partnerships, while fostering capable, ethical, and future-ready leaders who can contribute to a sustainable future.
