The Consulate General in Guangzhou Collaborates with Charoen Pokphand Group to Launch the First "Lotus Cup" Event
On March 27, 2024, Ms. Jiraporn Sudhanit, Consul General in Guangzhou, together with Mr. Weng Zehui, Vice President of Retail Business of Charoen Pokphand Group China and CEO of Lotus Guangdong and Hunan, and Mr. Chairat Norrattasakul, Director of New Business Development of Charoen Pokphand Group China (Participant of Leaders Development Program or LDP), inaugurated the first "Lotus Cup" marketing plan competition at the Consulate General in Guangzhou.
The "Lotus Cup" project, a collaboration between the Consulate General and Charoen Pokphand Group China, aims to identify and develop the potential of Thai and international students in China. It focuses on fostering entrepreneurial experiences to build a foundation for future career development. This project provides an excellent opportunity for Thai students to engage in business management within the Charoen Pokphand Group through this marketing competition.
The Consulate General recognizes that this initiative not only offers Thai students a chance to learn about Charoen Pokphand Group’s marketing plan development in China but also provides real-world work experience and internship opportunities with the group. Furthermore, this project serves to strengthen the relationship between Thai and Chinese people, fostering closer ties.
Mr. Chairat Norrattasakul, Director of New Business Development of Charoen Pokphand Group China (Participant of Leaders Development Program or LDP), stated that one of the six core values of Charoen Pokphand Group is the "Three Benefits" philosophy. This principle asserts that no organization can grow sustainably on its own; it must be accompanied by the strength of the nation, the people, and society. Additionally, Charoen Pokphand Group recognizes the power of the younger generation, supporting and providing opportunities through the "Taokae" or leadership development program of the CP Group Leadership Institute to learn, create, and grow through hands-on experience.
