CPLI Empowers FLP Participants to Drive Business with an ESG Heart, Transforming Knowledge into Action by Delivering Tactile Sensory Boards to Support the Development of Visually Impaired Children

CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) continues to cultivate a vision of sustainability by organizing an ESG workshop for the new generation of leaders in the CP Future Leaders Development Program (FLP). The initiative focuses on turning theory into practical action by having participants collaboratively design and craft Tactile Sensory Boards. These boards were then delivered to the Makut Kiriwan School for the Blind (Khao Yai), reflecting the transformation of social responsibility and stakeholder awareness into tangible learning materials that create genuine value.

Creating the Tactile Sensory Board—a medium that incorporates materials with various textures such as felt, buttons, ropes, and rough surfaces—allows children to explore and learn through touch. The Tao Kae Noi leaders learned a working process that requires meticulous attention to every detail, from preparing a sturdy and safe base, selecting and categorizing materials with appropriate spacing, to adding raised shapes or symbols for easy differentiation. This process seamlessly integrated the application of Design Thinking in product and service design, emphasizing that leaders must deeply understand the needs and limitations of actual users. This educational tool not only helps develop observation skills and boosts children's confidence in independent learning, but it also truly reflects a design approach that respects diversity and differences.

Cultivating an ESG conscience through the provision of educational opportunities reinforces the fact that the success of modern businesses cannot be measured by profit alone; it must be balanced with the value an organization creates for its community. CPLI firmly believes that this hands-on experience will transform the mindset of Tao Kae Noi leaders, elevating them to become compassionate and responsible executives. They are now better equipped to use their potential to help drive the organization, the economy, and Thai society toward a stable and sustainable future, ensuring that no one is left behind.
