CPLI Leads Employees in Volunteering Efforts to Conserve and Restore Watersheds through the ‘CPF RAK NI VES’ Project at Pasak Watershed Khao Phraya Doen Tong

CP Leadership Institute (CPLI), through its Corporate Governance and Communications Department, organized a volunteer activity for its employees to participate in the conservation and restoration of watersheds by planting forage crops under the ‘CPF RAK NI VES’ Project at Pasak Watershed Khao Phraya Doen Tong in Lopburi province. This initiative aims to provide a sustainable food source for wildlife and restore ecological balance to the area.

The event brought together more than 250 volunteers from various CP-CPF business units to plant forage crops across a 30-rai area. A total of over 3,000 trees were planted, including species such as Terminalia Chebula, Anisoptera Costata, Lagerstroemia, Ficus Racemosa, and supportive species like Millettia, Neem, and Sterculia, all of which contribute to creating a diverse food source for wildlife and increasing plant biodiversity.

The ‘CPF RAK NI VES’ Project at Pasak Watershed Khao Phraya Doen Tong, now in its ninth year, has already conserved and restored over 7,000 rai of forest. The project aims to expand by an additional 5,000 rai to provide a rich and fertile forest ecosystem for the nation, safeguard natural resources and watersheds, and promote sustainable food security.

This initiative reflects CPLI's commitment to environmental stewardship and aligns with its broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals, promoting both ecological sustainability and community engagement. By involving employees in hands-on activities, CPLI continues to foster a culture of environmental consciousness and proactive conservation efforts, ensuring long-term benefits for the ecosystem and the surrounding communities.
