CPLI Green Guard Project Partners with CPP to Create Firebreaks, Implementing Proactive Measures to Protect Carbon Forests and Empower Future Leaders Toward Net Zero

The CP Leadership Institute (CPLI), in collaboration with the Carbon Credit Business Group (CPP) , launched the CPLI Green Guard project, initiating a firebreak construction activity at the institute's T-VER carbon forest area. This initiative aims to prepare and enhance the organization's wildfire response operational plan while systematically reducing forest fire risks to protect vital carbon sequestration areas. This effort directly aligns with CP Group's 3 Big Goals for sustainability, particularly the commitment to achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2030 and Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The activity featured expert guest speaker Director Hongpicharn Buakai, Director of the Conservation Area Rehabilitation and Development Division and Director of the Watershed Management and Community Development Division in Protected Forest Areas, Protected Area Regional Office 1 (Saraburi), Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation. He shared professional knowledge and proper firebreak construction techniques with CPLI personnel. This hands-on experience represents addressing the root cause through proactive measures, ensuring the preservation of ecosystems and preventing the loss of natural resources through concrete environmental risk management.
