CPLI Hosts Sustainability Workshop for CP CUP 2024. Enhancing understanding of sustainability through hands-on activities

The CP Leadership Institute (CPLI) recently hosted the CP Sustainability Workshop as part of the CP CUP 2024 initiative, bringing together students, young professionals, and staff from Thailand and China. This workshop was designed to enhance understanding of sustainability through a blend of insightful lectures and practical, hands-on activities, with the ultimate goal of preparing the next generation of leaders to be responsible stewards of society and the environment.

At the outset of the event, Mr. Pannarat Chiaocharn and Mr. Suthawan Chitratham, Assistant Directors from the Sustainability, Governance, and Corporate Communications Office of the Charoen Pokphand Group, delivered comprehensive training. They equipped participants with essential skills in sustainability development, focusing on 15 key objectives under the "3 Hs" operational framework: Heart, Health, and Home. This framework, which addresses economic, social, and environmental dimensions, is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and supports the drive for balanced, sustainable organizational growth.

Following the workshop sessions, CPLI organized a tree-planting activity to further instill environmental awareness among the participants. In a symbolic gesture of international collaboration for a sustainable future, Ms. Pimolrat Reepattanavijitkul, President of CPLI and Chief People Officer of the Charoen Pokphand Group joined the students in planting trees. This initiative marked a significant step in cultivating a global sustainability mindset among emerging youth, emphasizing the importance of concrete actions in environmental stewardship.
